Elder Care Clinician

DESCRIPTION FOR ELDER CARE CLINICIAN: (Full-time salaried position) to provide assessment, psychotherapy and social support services with clients aged sixty and over utilizing an outreach-based approach. Services will be provided primarily in older Vermonter’s homes. The primary focus of the outreach components of this position will be in the Orange County geographical area, though services may also be provided within Washington County and a few border towns of Windsor County as needed.  Specific knowledge of and experience working with the issues of aging is a plus, as is a commitment to a strength-based approach aimed at maximizing our client’s independence.  Applicant must be comfortable working independently, with the knowledge that supervision and a supportive team approach is available as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ELDER CARE CLINICIAN:  A Master’s degree, license eligible, with a minimum of one-year experience providing psychotherapy required for this full-time salaried position.  Licensed or license eligible as a Clinical Social Worker would be a preference for this position.
