Position: WCMHS is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician. The clinician mental health counselor is a full-time 40 hour a week salaried position to provide individual therapy and other clinical services to adults in a community mental health program.
- Provide services 2 days out of our outpatient clinic in Berlin, and 3 days a week in a partnered local primary care medical office.
- Works closely with both the WCMHS provider team (psychiatry, case managers, etc.) as well as primary care medical staff to provide trauma informed and coordinated and integrated health care.
- Opportunity to co-facilitate groups.
- Position receives weekly individual clinical supervision, and ample group supervision related to co-occurring substance misuse, DBT skills, and trauma treatment.
- Create assessments, treatment planning, therapy and care coordination documents.
- Timely completion of all notes and billing using an electronic medical record.
- Some video/telehealth service delivery at present time.
- Attend all required agency and program specific meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A master’s degree in the mental health field with current license or license eligibility is required.
- One to three years of experience providing psychotherapy is preferred.
- Able to move around an office setting with or without accommodation.
- Able to drive in a community setting without accommodation.
- Able to lift and move up to 20 pounds.
- Possess clean driving record with access to a safe, reliable, and insured vehicle.
