POSITION: WCMHS is seeking a dedicated CSP Case Manager to provide supportive counseling, rehabilitative services, and social work assistance to individuals with mental illness. This role involves coordinating care with psychiatrists, community agencies, and auxiliary programs to help clients maintain independent living. Responsibilities include outreach visits, supportive counseling, transportation when clinically indicated, and assisting clients in securing housing and income. The case manager will monitor client progress, collaborate with medical and mental health professionals, and advocate for clients when needed. This position also requires maintaining accurate documentation, developing treatment plans, and attending required meetings and trainings. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to empowering clients to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
QUALIFICATIONS: The CSP Case Manager’s education and work experience will include:
- Master’s degree in related Mental health field/social work or;
- Bachelor’s degree in related mental health/social work with one or more years of experience in Mental Health Services
- Must have a valid driver’s license, possess an excellent driving record, and have access to a safe, reliable, insured vehicle.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing during therapy sessions and administrative tasks.
- Effective verbal communication, including the ability to clearly convey information both in-person and over the phone.
- Basic manual dexterity to handle documentation and computer-related tasks.
- Mobility to move within the office environment and between different work locations.
- Ability to work within a team with effective interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with teammates and colleagues within WCMHS and external partners.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Expectation is for clinical documentation to be completed in a timely and organized manner.
- Commitment to the WCMHS mission and positive regard for individuals accessing services.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: This full-time position offers an exempt hourly wage of $24.62 and excellent benefits, including tuition reimbursement/student loan assistance; generous paid time off; employer-sponsored health, dental, life, and disability insurances; and a 403(b)-retirement plan with employer match. Supervision toward mental health/social work licensure provided.
